AEA – Special Enrollment form available due to the recently ratified contract.
The 31-day Special Open Enrollment window begins today, February 4, 2026, and will close at 4:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026.
This 31-day window will allow a member to add/drop dependents, enroll for coverage, switch to another plan, or waive their health insurance.
- Requests submitted in February will take effect on March 1, 2026.
- Requests submitted in March (on or before March 6) will take effect on April 1, 2026.
If a member is changing plans, they must list all family members they wish to continue covering to ensure dependent coverage remains active. If a member is adding a new dependent who has never been on the plan, the required documentation (such as a marriage or birth certificate) must be submitted no later than March 6, 2026.
