Staring January 1, 2021, OneTouch blood glucose meters and test strips will no longer be covered by your plan. There are alternative blood glucose meters and test strips on your prescription benefit plan.
Please talk with your doctor as soon as possible to see if the Contour Next Test Strips will work for you. If so, please obtain a new prescription from your doctor for the test strips.
If you switch to Contour Next Test Strips, you will need a new blood sugar meter. Your plan offers a Contour Next meter at no cost to you! No action is needed on your part. The manufacturer will send your free meter kit to you.
The Contour Next kit will arrive no later than December 20, 2020
