Medical Providers

PEHT Open Access with EBMS gives you provider choice:

In-Network Providers will deliver care at fair, set prices, and you’ll save most when you see them or PEHT Direct Contract Providers.

If a provider is a member of the MultiPlan or PDH networks, there will be discounts on the claims, and if a provider has a Direct Contract with PEHT, that contract will still apply. PEHT is also still open to entering into new Direct Contracts with additional providers.

The providers who are considered “Open Access” providers will be paid with reference-based pricing, similar to how we previously processed claims at the out-of-network Medical 125% rates.  The Open Access rates are a higher allowable rate than that of the previous out-of-network rates, and the specific amounts allowed are based on provider type and service provided.

Direct Contract Providers

When a national PPO contract does not meet the needs of providers, they have the option of negotiating a direct contract with the Trust for the benefit of its members. The following providers have responded to their patient’s requests and have completed an in-network contract negotiation directly with the Trust for the benefit of you and your family.
